MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
With 20 years of music teaching experience and thousands of lessons taught, I bring a depth of knowledge, expertise, and understanding to my work with students of all ages and levels.
At the core of my teaching practice are 3 values that shape our lessons: 1) approaching music learning from a place of curiosity, fun, and inspiration; 2) building fluency in the language of music to boost your creative possibilities; and 3) developing technical skills to have greater facility with your instrument.
We'll always tailor the lessons to what is most inspiring to you and what provides appropriate challenges that support your growth. You'll walk away from your lessons with exercises, practice plans as well as informational handouts and song charts.
